Effective Safety Programs

Every day needs to be a safe day. That’s why we tailor our proven safety program to complement, support and enhance your existing program. Staff Management | SMX is committed to proactive safety initiatives and providing safe work environments for our employees and temporary associates. Our goal is to foster comprehensive safety awareness throughout your facility and to ensure that the program is part of every service team member’s daily framework and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Comprehensive Safety Training

We conduct comprehensive safety training during all of our new hire orientations. Orientation materials are communicated via simulations, videos, presentations and a client-customized orientation manual. Components of the program include a safety suggestions process, regular safety meetings, safety tracking via Stafftrack, signage, a newsletter, weekly safety topics, awareness programs such as safety bingo, safety questions of the week and safety talks.

Daily Safety Audits on the Floor

Daily safety audits are conducted on a shift-by-shift basis to ensure that safe work habits are exhibited by every associate and that safety related activities are documented.

Critical Behavior Inventory (CBIs)

We use CBIs to assess temporary associate compliance with our client-specific safety programs to reinforce safe work behaviors and support your safety goals. During program implementation, we jointly determine safety-related behaviors with you to gauge an associate’s safety on the job. The criteria we use are customized to your environment and existing safety programs. We find that mirroring your program helps to provide workforce and performance consistency throughout your facilities.

U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement IMAGE Program

Staff Management | SMX is the only staffing provider to attain charter membership in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement IMAGE Program. Our decade-long partnership with IMAGE offers your organization the greatest risk mitigation and brand protection available in the area of employment verification.

Workers’ Compensation Risk Certification (WRC)

In 2011, Staff Management | SMX obtained Workers’ Compensation Risk Certification (WRC) designation.
